Areas of Study

The Center for Conservation Biology is a lab group within Stanford’s Department of Biological Sciences. Students interested in doctoral studies apply to the Stanford Department of Biological Sciences. In some cases, students from the Emmett Interdisciplinary Program on Environment and Resources are also affiliated with the Center, and are working with one or more of Paul Ehrlich, Gretchen Daily or Carol Boggs. See our Doctoral studies webpage for further information.
Undergraduate or graduate students interested in pursuing research projects should contact Gretchen Daily or Chase Mendenhall, depending on their specific interests.
