PhD candidate

Caroline Daws

(co-advised with Kabir Peay)

Caroline is a PhD candidate working with Kabir Peay and Gretchen Daily on plant and fungal ecology. Her research focuses on plant-microbe interactions from local to global scales, how these ecological interactions govern plant and microbial distributions across space and time, and how human interactions with the environment affect these symbioses. Her work aims to elucidate how such ubiquitous but unseen interactions impact some of the world's most wicked problems like ecosystem conservation, restoration, and food systems resilience.
